Stourport regionals 2018

HRDA took a team of four horses to the regionals, which included Maisie, Jelly, Lady and Trojan, who were ridden by nine of our riders. Really pleased with Lady and Trojan as it was their first outing and only Maisie's second outing. The sun shone and our riders took part in a variety of dressage tests and the country sid e challenge. Our riders came away with a lot of rosettes and four of our riders have qualified for the regionals, which is great.

Elliots Amazing Achievements

Elliots Amazing Achievements

Elliot Evans is 28 years old and has Cerebral Palsy as well as autism.  His Cerebral Palsy means that his legs don't function as well as they should, which means he has to use a wheelchair to get around. When he was 3 years old in 1993, he started riding with Herefordshire RDA as part of his physiotherapy program and he has ridden ever since.  He LOVES horse riding and finds the movement of the horse stretches his legs, helping to build up muscles and keep his core strong, as well as improving his posture and overall fitness.  Riding also…

Donated new yard roof

Donated new yard roof

We would like to say a huge thank you to Wye valley group, GTaccess limited, and Central group roofing and biulding services, for donating their services, to install a new roof over the stable yard. Whilst we were closed for the summer, they have taken down the old roof and put up a new one, which would have cost us thousands to do. They have done a brilliant job and we would highly recommend their services. When we left for our holidays our roof was very leaky and falling in, we have come back to a dry yard, which means…

A sad but fitting day for Leah Bradshaw and Shamrock, as it was their last day with us. we wish them well for the…

What was lovely to see is how everybody supported each other, and new friendships were born. Due to the number of our clients who wanted to compete in the intro class, the college kindly created our own section within the class. Ryan Gwilliam came 1st and was overall in joint first place in the whole class which was very good. Daniel Bailey 2nd Jackie North 3rd Stephanie Boyce 4th Zara Roberts 5th…
