We can’t say thank you enough! All of us at Herefordshire Riding for the Disabled would like to thank each and everyone of you who attended and made donations on Saturday 20th August 2022. We are planning a fabulous summer tea party and fundraiser to commemorate 3 decades at Holme Lacy and celebrate all of our valued support from volunteers, managers and horses over the years - and of course our riders. Elliots Amazing Achievements

Elliot Evans is 28 years old and has Cerebral Palsy as well as autism.  His Cerebral Palsy means that his legs don't function as well as they should, which means he has to use a wheelchair to get around. When he was 3 years old in 1993, he started riding with Herefordshire RDA as part of his physiotherapy program and he has ridden ever since.  He LOVES horse riding and finds the movement of the horse stretches his legs, helping to build up muscles and keep his core strong, as well as improving his posture and overall fitness.  Riding also…

Elliot Evans who has Cerebral Palsy as well as being on the autistic spectrum, has chosen two challenges to raise money for us. He has ridden with Herefordshire RDA since he was 3 years old (1993) and is now enjoying riding Jelly. This year he won his walk class at the RDA regionals on Shamrock who has sadly moved on. The Courtyard’s 2015 Christmas Appeal partnering with HRDA has raised a total of £5,848.90 during the Courtyard’s most successful pantomime ever, Beauty and the Beast. Funds supported both charities - The Courtyard, and partner, Herefordshire Riding for the Disabled (RDA).
